Anita Luckett graduated from KIAD in 1984 qualified in Graphic Design and Technical Illustration and worked in the signage and screen printing industry, as an Interior Designer for Office Environments and Lemontree Designs in Kent before her tenure as the in-house graphic designer for Dover District Council from 1990 until 2000 – a role whicj took in illustration and photography as well as museum interpretation design and design for print.

Anita became a freelance designer and artist in 2000 to spend more time with her young daughter, and has remained freelance, enjoying the flexibility and variety of the work. Illustration work for print and large scale installations, heritage interpretation and design for web and print have run alongside her fine art work for commissioning clients and her personal project work.

Anita strongly believes in the transformations power of the arts, and drawign and painting based activities in particular,  to contribute to personal development and social change and  regularly hosts, or is a supporting artist for community and schools workshops, as well as community mural projects. She has enhanced DBS clearance.
